As a child, I embraced the author’s lifestyle. Admittedly, my “author’s lifestyle” lacked the Pall Malls of Kurt Vonnegut, the alcohol of Edgar Allan Poe or the hookers of Charles Bukowski but hey, a 6-year-old’s access to those types of vice is rather limited. So, I settled for animal crackers and Hi-C juice boxes to fuel my writing binges.
What first started with an over-active imagination and a typewriter grew into a means of expression and a career path, a method of communicating and a way of sharing my articles one tweet at time.
